What is National Customer Service Week?

National Customer Service Week, often referred to as NCSW takes place during the first full week of October and has been celebrated since its introduction in 1992.

The week is celebrated as an opportunity to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice and the growth of the UK economy.

Customer Service at Datacentreplus

Our customer service and support is a key priority for us. Every customer is important to our business and we take great pride in our customer service, particularly as the majority of our business comes from word-of-mouth recommendations.

As a provider of a technical business service (dedicated servers and cloud hosting) we are always mindful that not everyone who comes to us is knowledgeable and we take care to explain all our services very carefully.

Investment into our Customer Service

We regularly review and invest in our customer service which means we can continue to provide a great experience to our customers at all times..

Our recent investments include:

A new helpdesk solution – the new system is based on Freshdesk and gives us the ability to:

respond faster to customers who need support, provides an overview of all current support activities for managers and gives customers a real-time view of their ticket status.

Increased number of staff –  due to growth, investment and strong customer demand, we are very excited to have recently welcomed two data centre network engineers (Ryan & Lewis) to the Datacentreplus team.

Staff training – Investment in staff is a core value of the business and we are a strong believer in developing and training people. Our sector changes very fast and it is important that our staff are always up-to-date with the latest versions of software, for example.
