Salford Business Awards Finalist 2017

We are proud to announce that we are a finalist in the Rising Stars category of the Salford Business Awards 2017.

The Salford Business Awards, which is now in its tenth year, looks to recognise and celebrates the success of businesses operating in Salford, UK.  It is one of the region’s best-known awards and it is a real achievement to be recognised by them.

Datacentreplus has come a long way since it launched in 2015. Mashukul Hoque, Founder and CEO of Datacentreplus, took the leap to build and establish a data centre in Manchester when he experienced difficulties sourcing data centre space for his software business.

As one of the few independently owned and managed data centres in the UK, it was certainly no easy feat to set up and establish the business. The Salford Business Awards judging panel recognised the immense challenges that had to be overcome by us in setting up and establishing the business and the contribution it is already making to the local and wider digital business sector.

The last two years has seen the business grow from strength to strength and the most recent capacity upgrade (late 2016) was in response to the growing demands for our services.

The team at Datacentreplus has worked hard to get the business to this point and being shortlisted for such an award is a recognition in how far this business has come.

Mashukul Hoque said,

“Becoming a finalist in such a recognised awards event is a testament to the hard work that the team has put in and I am really proud of their achievement.”

“When we were looking to set up, MediaCity was really the only option due to the growth potential of its surrounding area and its thriving digital economy. To play a part in its development and demonstrating that the North West has everything you need to run a successful technology business means a lot to us.”

The Salford Business Awards takes place at the AJ Bell Stadium on Thursday 25th May 2017.

The category winners would be announced on the night.

Fingers crossed…

The Datacentreplus team.
