Are there set-up fees?

At Datacentreplus, many of our products are offered with no setup fees for getting your servers provisioned. Services such as Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Cloud Servers, Data Back up and Email come with free set up as standard.

Migration assistance may be available in some cases, but we recommend that you get in touch with us first to discuss the extent of the migration and if it is covered in our level of support.

Do you backup my server?

We do not backup your servers as a standard offering.

If you would like us to backup your server, this is a feature that we offer for an additional cost.

You can add the backup option during the configuration stage of any of our servers. If you are an existing customer and wish to add back up to your service, please get in touch with us by raising a support ticket via email to support@datacentreplus.co.uk

How much are additional IPs?

Additional IP are £4.00 per IP/ Month.

What shall I do if I have problems with my server?

If you are experiencing issues with your server, we recommend that the first you do is to raise a support ticket with our support team.

This can be done by sending an email to support@datacentreplus.co.uk.

Alternatively, if the matter is time sensitive, feel free to give us a call on 0161 464 6101 and select the option for Support.

We have a 30 minute SLA response time to any ticket raised.

Can I install my own operating system?

You are free to install anything you want on your servers, including your own operating system provided it is legal and falls within our terms and conditions (T&Cs).

We provide you with a KVMoIP session which enables you access to your own servers.

We may even be able to install this for you provided you supply us with install instructions. If you would like us to install this for you, please get in touch with us to discuss the details.

What security systems do you have in place?

Our data centre has been built with security in mind.

The data centre sits in a walled and gated area. The main building itself has multiple security points with advanced controlled entry systems.

CCTV monitoring, motion detection and security guards are in place 24/7/365.

What is the minimum contract period?

Our minimum contract period is usually 12 months.
