What does Rachel do?

We’re excited to have caught up with Rachel, who shares her thoughts on working at Datacentreplus!

What is your role and what do you do?

I am the Communications Manager at Datacentreplus, helping to maintain both effective internal and external communications. I also play a key role in public relations, customer service, content creation and social media for the company.


What is the best thing about working at Datacentreplus?

The team! We have a fantastic team spirit and I have always been made to feel so welcome. I also love working closely with our customers, hearing their stories and finding out what attracted them to working with us.

In particular, I enjoy the customer service element of my role, ensuring we continue to invest in better customer facilities and support features, which will see us provide the highest possible customer service to our customers well into the future. We are consistently improving facilities and evolving the data centre and this is something I am very excited about.


Tell us something about yourself which surprises people

One thing that often surprises people is that I am a big sports fan, in particular a big football fan (Swansea City fan) and a season ticket holder for both the Swans and Bolton Wanderers.


What hobbies do you participate in when you are not in the office?

Easy – sport! most of the time watching the football, the basketball or going to the races.


What are you looking forward to achieving at Datacentreplus over the coming year?

I am looking forward to continuing to work with our existing customers and building relationships with new ones. It is a really exciting time for Datacentreplus and the digital sector in Manchester and I look forward to playing a key role in the Company’s’ growth.
